Sueno Noche, Viura/Chardonnay, Bodegas Paniza, Spain

A superb example of modern Spanish white winemaking. Viura is grown on either side of the Pyrenees in both Spain and France (where it is known as Macabeo); early harvested, it provides fresh, floral aromatics to the ubiquitous, but brilliant Chardonnay. The combination is deliciously fresh, juicy wine with a lovely ‘zip’ of acidity.
