Hewitson, Miss Harry, Barossa Valley, South Australia
Miss Harry is the nickname of Harriet Hewitson and this wine is a Rhone-style blend from vineyards dating back to 1800s. Harriet's Blend is a blend of Grenache (46%), Mourvèdre (18%), Shiraz (20%), Cinsault (7%) and Carignan (9%).
These varieties are historically grown in the southern Rhône Valley of France but also have a natural affinity for the Barossa Valley. Aged for 12 months in seasoned French oak Miss Harry is bright garnet in colour and displays aromas of cherries, strawberries, spice and Provençal herbs.
