Chateau Lestage-Darquier, Cru Bourgeois Moulis, 1989

A tiny parcel from an impeccable private cellar, this is a truly remarkable wine that is ‘drinking well’ over 30 years from vintage.

We have just a handful of bottles of this remarkable wine from the classic 1989 vintage. Tasted recently we found it to be alive and well, giving that delightful combination of mature fruit and silky-smooth tannins and just the right balance of acidity.

This is beautiful mature ‘old school’ Medoc that has all of that delicious delicately balanced flavour of mature dark fruits, cedar and a long and lingering finish.
