Chateau Brillette, Cru Bourgeois Moulis, 1986

A tiny parcel of this remarkable old Bordeaux that is still 'alive and well' 30+ years from vintage, thanks to impeccable cellaring.

Bought from a private cellar and recently tasted, this amazing wine from the less fashionable Moulis commune of Bordeaux’s left bank is absolutely ‘a point’ right now.

The great vintage of 1986 favoured the communes of Margaux and neighbouring Moulis and it is this, along with 30 years of careful cellaring that have created this spectacular wine.

Delicious and mature, this is ‘old school’ Claret, silky with flavours and aromas of cedar, mature dark fruits and a lingering, beautifully balanced finished.

This is for drinking right now and is an absolute treat!
