A tiny parcel of this remarkable old Bordeaux that is still 'alive and well' 30+ years from vintage, thanks to impeccable cellaring.

Bought from a private cellar and recently tasted, this amazing wine from the village of Arcins just north of Margaux is drinking perfectly right now.

The ‘great’ vintage of 1988 was the first of what became known as ‘Les Trois Glorieuses’ three fantastic vintages in a row, the ‘88’s were always thought of as the longer keepers, and this wine proves that theory to have been right.

Delicious and mature, this is ‘old school’ Claret, silky with flavours and aromas of cedar, mature dark fruits and a lingering, beautifully balanced finished.

This is for drinking right now and is an absolute treat!
