Dancing Sands Saffron Gin, New Zealand

The Dancing Sands Distillery at the north end of south island New Zealand makes this amazing Saffron Gin; a spicy and floral affair.

An eye-watering 8,000 saffron crocus flowers are hand-picked to make one single batch. The base spirit is blended with rosebud infused water until it reaches 47% ABV. Then, saffron is combined with cardamom, which are infused into the liquid.

Also, it's not just the bottle gleaming, the gin really is that wonderful golden hue.
